In studying Ayurveda, I’ve learned that you have to love and take care of your whole self. We’ve all heard the saying that beauty is more than skin deep. There’s truth to that. According to Ayurveda, if you can’t eat it, you shouldn’t put it on your skin. We digest physically and emotionally with all of our senses, what we watch, what we hear, smell, taste, and what we touch or put on our skin. So I embrace my skin by having a healthy daily routine of eating, sleeping, managing stress, using sunscreen, wearing very little makeup, if any at all, and applying only natural oils to my skin according to the season, such as sesame oil in the fall, sunflower oil in winter, coconut oil in summer. Love the skin you’re in and you’ll radiate natural beauty that’s already within you. 🥰🙏🏻
